Ortis Kft. (hereinafter: Data Controller) is committed to protecting the personal data of its partners and clients, and pays special attention to compliance with applicable data protection legislation, in particular EU Regulation 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The purpose of data processing related to the services of Ortis Kft. is: establishing and maintaining contact, handling inquiries and requests for quotations, preparing and fulfilling contracts, conducting client and partner communications, fulfilling legal obligations (e.g. invoicing).

During contact made via the website, by e-mail or by phone, the following personal data may be provided: name, e-mail address, phone number, company name (where relevant), the content of the message, as well as other data necessary for the handling of the matter.

The legal basis for data processing is: the voluntary consent of the data subject, and data processing necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract, based on Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the GDPR.

The Data Controller does not transfer personal data to third parties, except where: it is necessary for the performance of the service (e.g. accounting, courier services), or it is required by law. Personal data are processed exclusively by authorised employees of the Data Controller.

Data provided in connection with a request for quotation or contact inquiry are retained by the Data Controller until the inquiry is closed, or for a maximum of 12 months, after which they are deleted, provided no contract has been concluded and there is no legal obligation for further retention.

The data subject is entitled to: request information about the processing of their personal data, request the rectification or erasure of their data, request the restriction of data processing, object to data processing, withdraw their consent at any time. Requests may be submitted by the data subject to the e-mail address info@ortis.hu.

The Data Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the secure processing of personal data, and takes all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, loss or misuse.
